Rinnai R&D system

Our company’s group conducts research and development primarily at our Development Headquarters in Japan. Approximately 500 employees work at the Japanese Development Headquarters. Additionally, we have established development bases at some overseas affiliated companies, including in Indonesia, to develop products that cater to the living environments and cultures of various countries and regions. Rinnai Indonesia opened a state-of-the-art research and development center in 2025, equipped with the latest testing equipment. Rinnai is committed to in-house research and development, investing significant funds and personnel into R&D activities. As a result, we have achieved remarkable milestones, such as developing the world’s first 100% hydrogen combustion technology for household water heaters in recent years.
